If You Own a Smoker, You MUST Know How to Do This: Simple Delicious Pulled Pork!
Sure, it is a long cook, but do not be intimidated! Making incredibly juicy and flavorful pulled pork is actually very easy. Gregg shows you how to make this fantastic meal with only 6 ingredients!
Ingredients:
Pork shoulder
Directions:
1. Mix together the apple juice, pineapple juice and brown sugar, then set aside.
2. Remove any excess fat, silver skin or any other tissue that may look tough from the pork shoulder. Score the fat cap with a cross hatch pattern.
3. Inject the pork shoulder with the juice mix.
4. Liberally coat the pork shoulder with both mentioned rubs.
5. Place the pork shoulder on the smoker set to 250F, fat cap up and smoke until the internal temperature hits 203-205F. (A good rule of thumb is 1 hour per pound + 1 hour, but be sure to check your temperature frequently after the shoulder passes the “stall” which happens between 150 and 165F.)
6. Serve and ENJOY!
