Plank Grilled Parmesan Pepper Tilapia

Our first fish episode was a hit!

In this episode, we cook up a delicious meal of Parmesan Pepper Tilapia on alderwood planks. Plank Grilled Parmesan Pepper Tilapia 

 

Ingredients 

6 tilapia fillets 

Alder wood planks  

1/4 cup mayo (Kewpie is the Galley of the Sun favorite)  

3 T Parmesan Cheese (or other hard, dry grated cheese) 

1 t fresh ground pepper  

1 t smoked paprika  

4 cloves fresh minced garlic 

 

1. Soak your planks for at least 20 minutes. 

2. Mix the mayo, cheese, garlic, pepper and paprika together in a bowl and set aside 

3. Arrange your tilapia fillets on the planks and top with sauce. 

4. Place the plank directly above the flame on your grill or smoker. I set my smoker to 400F. 

5. Once your fillets hit an internal temperature of 145F, remove the planks and serve.  ENJOY!
