Drunken Dirt Cake

You Won't Believe What Happens When You Turn This Dessert into a Boozy Treat!

Dirt Cake is a classic. How could you possibly improve it? In our continuing series of taking the holiday classic treats and adding alcohol…behold: the Drunken Dirt Cake!

Ingredients: 

 

½ cup butter, softened 

1 (8 ounce) package cream cheese, softened 

½ cup confectioners’ sugar  

2 (3.5 ounce) packages instant vanilla pudding mix  

3 cups milk 

1/2 cup Whisky (I used Sacred Stave Caramellow Caramel Whisky) 

1 (12 ounce) container frozen whipped topping, thawed 

32 ounces chocolate sandwich cookies with creme filling (Oreos…of course!)  

 

1. Chop cookies very fine in food processor. The white cream will disappear. Do not be alarmed! 

2. Mix butter, cream cheese, and sugar in bowl. 

3. In a large bowl mix whisky, milk, pudding and whipped topping together. 

4. Combine pudding mixture and cream mixture together. 

5. Place 1/2 of the cookie crumb mixture in the bottom of th 9 x 13 baking dish. 

6. Add the creamy mixture 

7. Top with the rest of the cookie crumbs 

8. Chill, serve and ENJOY!
