Irresistible Crispy Cheesy Taco Meatballs: The Ultimate Game-Changer!
Tacos. Meatballs. Cheese…do you really need to hear more?
Ingredients:
1 pound ground beef (we used aged ground beef )
1/4 cup finely diced onions
1/4 cup finely crushed Doritos
1 T taco seasoning (we used Cattleman’s Grill 8 Second Ride)
3 T finely diced cilantro
1 egg
8 cubes the size of sugar cubes of a good melty cheese (us used Velveeta Queso Blanco)
1. Mix all of the above ingredients except for the cheese cubes together in a bowl, then divide into 8 evenly sized meatballs.
2. Press the cheese into the meatball and reform the meatball to fully encase the cheese.
3. Roll the meatballs in finely crushed Doritos (we estimate you will need about a quarter of a family sized bag).
4. Chuck your meatballs into the fryer and cook for 5 minutes.
5. Allow a few minutes to cool, then serve and ENJOY!
