How do you maker carrots better? Add wine!
Ingredients
4 T butter
1 lb. carrots, thinly sliced
1 t sugar
1/2 t salt
1/4 cup marsala
1. Melt the butter in a medium saucepan.
2. Add the carrots and stir well to coat with the butter.
3. Add the sugar and salt and mix well.
4. Add the marsala and simmer for 4-5 minutes.
5. Add enough water to just cover the carrots. Cover the pan and cook over low to medium heat until the carrots are tender.
6. Remove the cover and cook until the liquids are almost completely reduced.
7. Serve and ENJOY!
