A delicious upgrade from just Vanilla!
Here is Charlotte’s easy recipe for delicious Butterfinger Ice Cream!
Butterfinger Ice Cream
Ingredients:
2 T Whipped cream cheese
1/3 cup Sugar
1 cup Whole milk
3/4 cup Heavy cream
2 t Vanilla extract
1/4 cup crushed Butterfinger bits
1. The day before you wish to consume ice cream, in a microwave safe bowl, add the whipped cream cheese, then place the bowl in the microwave for 15 seconds to soften.
2. Add the sugar to the bowl and whisk to mix.
3. Add the milk and vanilla extract and bean paste (or peppermint extract in lieu of the bean paste if making a peppermint base). Whisk to mix.
4. Add the heavy cream and whisk to mix. Pour the base into the CREAMi™ pint containers and chuck it into the freezer for 24 hours.
5. The following day: Remove the lid from the CREAMi™ pint container and place into the CREAMi™ mixing base. Place the lid on the base and install the base onto the CREAMi™.
6. Turn the CREAMi™ on, then hit the “Ice Cream” button.
7. When the CREAMi™ has stopped, remove the base, remove it’s lid
8. Check the consistency of the ice cream. If you feel it is not creamy enough, place the lid back on the base, return it to the CREAMi™ and select “Re-Spin”.
9. Remove the base from the CREAMi™, remove the base lid and add the Butterfinger bits. Place the lid back on the base, return the base to the CREAMi™ and select the “Mix-In” button.
10. Once the CREAMi™ stops, remove the CREAMi™ pint container from the base and you are ready to eat delicious ice cream you made yourself! ENJOY!
