As part of our American Wagyu vs. USDA Prime series, we chucked some tri tip roasts in the smoker. Here is the method to our madness.
Ingredients:
Tri Tip
California Tri Tip Rub
1. Cover your tri tips with the beef tallow. Liberally apply rub.
2. Set your smoker to 275F.
3. Indirect cook your tri tips to an internal temperature of 130F.
4. Allow tri tips to rest for at least 10 minutes.
5. Slice across the grain and serve. ENJOY!
