The Sicilian Classico. WOW, just WOW!
Here is a menu item from Umai Savory Hot Dogs, an upscale Hot Dog restaurant in San Francisco. Once we read about this, we knew we had to recreate it!
Ingredients:
Sourdough bun
Italian Sausage
Marinara Sauce
Mozzarella Cheese, shredded
Black Olives
Parmesan Cheese
Fresh Oregano
1. Fire up the grill.
2. Brown the sausage on all sides.
3. Place the sausage in the bun.
4. Top with your favorite warmed marinara sauce, black olive slices, fresh oregano, mozzarella cheese, then parmesan cheese.
5. Either place the finished dog in the oven on broil, or use a blowtorch to melt the mozzarella.
6. Serve and ENJOY!
