Fried Perfection! | Aged Ground Beef Chimichangas
Take a glorious burrito. Fry it. How could this possibly go wrong? Today we’re making aged ground beef chimichangas! Much like tacos, the fillings for a chimichanga are endless. Learn how to make a chimichanga easy with this recipe!
Ingredients:
NOTE – If you watch the episode, you can clearly see that I made enough to feed a small army. I will list the ingredients I used, but leave the amounts to you, loyal viewer. It is next to impossible to screw this up. (Except for you, Herb…I am still keeping an eye on you…)
Taco meat (Our favorite mixture is a mix of aged ground beef and pork chorizo, seasoned with Cattleman’s Grill Mexicano Seasoning. About 1 T of seasoning and 1/4 cup of water per pound of meat)
Refried or black beans
A good amount of sour cream
A bit of guacamole would certainly not hurt
A healthy amount of cheese
A T or so of diced chipotle in adobo. More if you want the HEAT!
1. Wrap the chimichanga tightly. Shallow fry in 350-375F Vegetable oil. About 3 minutes per side will do the trick. You are looking for golden deliciousness.
2. Serve and ENJOY!
