Charlotte’s Butter Rolls
Ingredients
This is much more of a “technique” vice a recipe
Ingredients
1 (or more) bag of Rhodes Rolls (found in the freezer section)
Cooking spray
2 sticks of butter per bag of rolls
1. On a large baking sheet, coat the pan with cooking spray, then lay the rolls out, leaving a bout an inch around each.
2. Cover the rolls with plastic wrap that has been sprayed with cooking spray to prevent roll stickage and allow them to thaw and double in size (3-5 hours).
3. Remove the wrap and attempt to save it for the next proofing period.
4. Flatten each roll, dip them in the melted butter, fold them in half, then stack them in a baking dish like a tower of Pringles, just horizontal vice vertical.
5. Allow the rolls to rise for an hour, then place the pan into a 350F oven for 20-30 minutes until browned.
6. Serve and ENJOY!
