The Mouthwatering Chipotle Butter Burger Recipe You Can't Resist!
We at Galley of the Sun certainly did not invent the butter burger…but we did add the compound Chipotle-Lime-Garlic Butter to the center of an incredible burger! Cooked on our Yoder YS640 smoker on direct heat, this is a burger you want to try!
Chipotle Butter Burger
Ingredients :
For the Compound butter
1/2 cup of butter at room temp
2 cloves of garlic (minced)
1 diced chipotle in adobo sauce (if yours is already diced, use 2T)
Juice of half a lime
2 T minced fresh cilantro
For the burger:
8 oz of ground beef, divided into 2
4 oz patties
2 T of the Chipotle-Lime-Garlic Butter
1 Brioche buns (toasted)
1 slice of extra sharp cheddar
1. Place the compound butter on top of one patties, then place the other patty on top, being careful to seal the perimeter.
2. Place the burger on your grill, over direct flame. Season the burger to your desires (I used our usual mixture of salt, pepper, garlic powder and onion powder). Flip the burger after 4 minutes, season the other side and top with the cheese.
3. After another 4 minutes, place the burger on your toasted bun and enjoy!
